UIC Community Notification of the Financial Aid Office Contact Information
Please note:
December 20th – January 24th, the Office of Student Financial Aid and Scholarships will be REMOTE. Our office will be closed to all public traffic.
Our office will also close for the Holiday Break, starting Friday, December 24th and retuning on Wednesday, January 5th.
Resuming on January 24th, 2022, our reception area is open from 8:30am to 5:00pm Central time, Monday through Friday. Please note: Only 4 students will be permitted in the reception area at any time. If there are more than 4 students, please form a line following physical distancing requirements and only enter once less than 4 students are present in our lobby.
UIC Student Financial Aid & Scholarships (SFAS) supports our students and families by administering federal, state, external, and institutional aid. As a Student Affairs unit, we believe that financial literacy is key to enhancing a student’s college experience and transition after graduation. Our professional staff provides personalized counseling and outreach to empower students and make higher education more accessible.
