FERPA – Consent to Release Records
The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) of 1974, is a federal law that does not allow the University to disclose personally identifiable information contained in a student’s education records without the student’s written consent.
The University requires that students provide written consent if they want to grant a third-party permission to access personal financial aid information (this includes parents). You may complete the FERPA release here.
Once this form is on file with our office, we can disclose your financial aid information to the authorized individuals.
