Students who receive an assistantship appointment may qualify to have their tuition (not most tuition differentials) and some fees waived. To be eligible, the assistantship appointment must be between 25%-67% and cover at least 91 continuous days of the fall or spring semesters (41 days for summer appointments). Please visit the Human Resources website for more information. Students also receive a monthly stipend from their hiring department that varies in amount according to the time worked. To receive an assistantship tuition waiver, eligible students must also maintain a minimum registration throughout the term of 8 credit hours for fall and spring appointments and 3 credit hours for summer. If you will have an assistantship, you will need to report it the OSFA once you receive your electronic award letter.
